The swimming pool (10mx4m) in the sunny back garden is ideal for a leisurely swim before breakfast or after a day's sightseeing. For the more energetic, the barn next to the pool has been converted into a keep-fit space with a range of sports equipment (wall bars, rowing machines, bicycles etc.). |

Traditional French family
dinners with local wines are served in the family dining room next
to the open fireplace in winter, and in the garden in the shade
of the old lime tree in summer.
The quiet, peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect refuge for world-weary travellers. |

to visit the Abbey of Fontevraud (where the Plantagenets are buried),
the chateaux of Chinon, Azay le Rideau, Villandry, Saumur and Langeais,
and the vineyards of Chinon and Saumur.
